  • Its commander-in-chief is President Arif Alvi, and its chief of the army staff is Gen. Asim Munir.
  • It operates a variety of aircraft, including attack , transport helicopters, and drones.
  • It has been involved in four wars with India (1947–48, 1965, 1971, and 1999), several border skirmishes with (1978–present), and a long-running insurgency in Balochistan (1948–present).
