Pakistan Railways is the state-owned railway operator in Pakistan. It is one of the oldest railway networks in Asia, having been founded in 1861 as the North Western State Railway. Today, it operates over 7,700 kilometers of track across the country, connecting major cities like Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Rawalpindi.
Pakistan Railways offers a variety of services, including passenger and freight transportation. Passenger services range from economy class to luxury air-conditioned coaches, with a variety of train types available to suit different needs and budgets.
